Prior experience in a warehouse environment
Previous forklift experience
Experience utilizing a WMS
Basic computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Office
Ability to understand tasks and responsibilities
Ability operating an order picker above floor level
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
Frequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs.
Required to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs.
Required to communicate using telephone or email
Ability to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating procedures
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Role Summary As a Sr. Inventory Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for warehouse maintenance associated to inventory accuracy, material relocation, and material movement error resolution. In addition, you will participate in material handling including inbound, outbound, inventory, and repackaging activities. You will foster a safe working environment, maintain organized cleanliness, and provide feedback on improvement opportunities. Responsibilities Perform cycle counts and help root cause any identified gaps Relocate material based on part characteristics, demand changes, safety concern, and consolidation needs Ensure materials are stored in a safe manner Determine root cause of material movement errors and resolve them Load and unload delivery vehicles Identify inventory concerns based on quantity or quality discrepancies Provide input into safety, quality, and throughput opportunities Understand and utilize standard work Maintain the proper use of equipment Repackage materials to meet the distribution requirements for Service Parts Operate several types of powered equipment (forklift, stock chaser, etc.) Support general material handling request from leadership and team members Participate in group efforts to foster an environment based on continuous improvement Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred Prior experience in a warehouse environment (automotive preferred) Previous forklift experience Experience utilizing a WMS with SAP/EWM preferred Basic computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Office Ability to understand tasks and responsibilities Ability operating an order picker above floor level Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day Frequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs. Pay Disclosure The salary range for this role is $25.81 to 34.20/hr for Texas based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
