As our business grows, we’re bringing the ads plan to even more members around the world. Starting in 2027, Netflix’s ads plan will expand to several new countries, including Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium, giving members more plan options and advertisers more opportunities to reach our audience. We are looking for team members who will be instrumental in shaping this quickly evolving business area for Netflix, including a Senior Manager, Account Management, EMEA Market Expansion, to help scale and support our Ads business across new and emerging markets.
As the Senior Manager, Account Management, EMEA Market Expansion, you will be responsible for leading account management strategy and execution across newly launched and scaling markets in EMEA. You will play a critical role across the full client lifecycle, partnering with Sales from pre-sale through execution and renewal to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for advertisers.
The role will involve building and scaling account management capabilities across multiple markets, including hiring and developing high-performing teams where needed. You will act as a strategic partner to Sales, bringing deep expertise in campaign execution, programmatic, and client operations to strengthen the overall commercial motion. You will also serve as a senior point of contact for key advertisers and agency stakeholders, helping to build trusted, long-term relationships.
You will contribute to market-level revenue success by enabling effective pre-sale planning, delivering best-in-class campaign execution, and actively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. A key focus will be driving the adoption and growth of always-on programmatic deals, helping clients transition from campaign-based buying to more continuous, scalable investment models. You will partner closely with Sales and clients to shape account strategies that unlock incremental revenue, deepen partnerships, and increase long-term value.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Measurement, to ensure solutions are tailored, operationally sound, and deliver strong client outcomes. In partnership with Market Planning & Operations, you will help establish operational rigor across markets, including processes for pre-sale planning, campaign execution, performance tracking, and client reporting. You will continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, scale best practices, and optimize the overall advertiser experience.
The ideal candidate will bring strong account management leadership experience, deep programmatic expertise, and a track record of driving client growth in complex, multi-market environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead account management strategy and execution across new and scaling EMEA markets (Nordics, Poland, Ireland, Benelux), supporting the full client lifecycle.
- Partner closely with Sales as a strategic and operational counterpart, strengthening pre-sale strategy and overall deal quality.
- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to revenue growth across markets.
- Lead the development and expansion of always-on programmatic deals, increasing client adoption and long-term investment.
- Advise clients and agency partners on programmatic strategies, deal structures, and activation approaches to maximize performance and scale.
- Build, hire, and develop high-performing account management teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
- Enable strong campaign execution and delivery, ensuring client objectives are met and exceeded.
- Establish strong relationships with key advertisers and agency stakeholders, particularly across programmatic, trading, and activation teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of client solutions.
- Localize and implement global account management and programmatic frameworks to meet market-specific needs.
- Build operational rigor in partnership with Market Planning & Operations (MP&O), including planning, execution, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Identify opportunities to scale best practices, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall advertiser experience.
We’re Looking for:
- Significant experience (typically 10 or more years) in account management leadership roles, specializing in digital advertising.
- Extensive experience managing and developing high-performing teams, ideally across different markets.
- Strong expertise in programmatic advertising, including experience within DSPs, deal structures, and always-on buying models.
- Willingness and ability to travel outside of the UK, as this is a hub-based leadership role requiring in-market presence.
- Entrepreneurial approach, with a track record of independently identifying opportunities, driving initiatives, and taking ownership of business outcomes.
- Proven track record of driving account growth through upsell, cross-sell, and long-term partnership development.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales teams across pre-sale and post-sale motions, as a specialist counterpart.
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, across both direct and programmatic channels.
- Strong client relationship skills, with experience engaging agency and advertiser stakeholders across planning, buying, and activation teams.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Operationally strong, with experience building or scaling processes and workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to make sound decisions and create clarity in ambiguous, evolving situations, including building new capabilities from the ground up
- A passion for entertainment and Netflix’s product is a plus
