Sr. Manager, Accounting

This role is for a Sr. Manager of Administration Accounting at Comcast, responsible for managing end-to-end cashflow and accrual to cash adjustment reporting processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and identifying process enhancements and automation opportunities. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and people leadership within the accounting department.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages functions of the Accounting department including Company policies, procedures, internal controls, external audits and internal audits.
  2. Ensures compliance with policies, trust indentures, debt covenants, rules, regulations and laws. Stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audits guidelines affecting areas of responsibility; enforces legal and regulatory requirements impartially; reviews financial reporting for compliance with GAAP.
  3. Manages the end-to-end Balance Sheet reporting, Cashflow reporting, and Accrual to Cash Adjustment (“ACA”) processes (Monthly/Quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, Long-range Plan) for Comcast Connectivity & Platforms.
  4. Provides monthly and quarterly updates to senior C&P leadership on results
  5. Manages cross-functional initiatives to align processes across C&P in the Balance Sheet, Cashflow and ACA functional areas.

Required

  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills

  • Familiar with Oracle, Smartview, Incorta and OneStream
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
