Sr. Manager, Data Center Systems Design & Linux Partner Enablement

AMD AMD · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA · Engineering

Manage a team focused on Linux partner enablement for AMD's EPYC CPUs and Instinct accelerators, ensuring day-0 readiness and long-term success with key Linux partners. This involves deep expertise in operating system hardware enablement, Linux and open source development, and partner engagement. The role collaborates across various internal teams and works hands-on with partners through validation, integration, and optimization.

What you'd actually do

  1. managing, leading, and developing an engineering team that is working with pre- and post-silicon hardware, software, and diagnostic teams to help ensure silicon success and rapid silicon validation of our products.
  2. lead Linux partner enablement for AMD’s EPYC™ CPUs and Instinct™ accelerators across the data center ecosystem.
  3. drive alignment across silicon, software, and partner roadmaps; ensure partners have early access to hardware and technical guidance; and work hands‑on with them through validation, integration, and optimization cycles to deliver high‑quality, performant solutions.
  4. support the full lifecycle of AMD data center products—from early silicon bring‑up and feature enablement to security, customer escalations, proofs of concept, and backline support.
  5. managing Linux development teams and technical partner engagements is essential.
