This role is for a Sr Manager of Employee & Labor Relations at Uber, focusing on managing a team and a caseload of workplace investigations and mediations. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a team of regional ER Partners within the standards of ELR’s core competencies, timelines and global process.
  2. Manage a full caseload within our global process involving interpersonal conflict and/or allegations of misconduct (e.g. harassment, discrimination, bullying, retaliation, etc)
  3. Analyze context, facts and documentation gathered within ELR’s case management process to develop balanced recommended actions that address any misconduct and restore damaged relationships
  4. Facilitate restorative conversations (mediated discussions) between employees with an emphasis on outcomes that repair workplace relationships
  5. Maintain confidential records within a shared case management tool; leverage the case management tool to identify themes affecting employee groups or subgroups and develop a measured response related to trends
