What you'd actually do

  1. Be a strategic partner with Nordstrom Selling & Styling Programs leadership as well as Human Resources/Compensation to advise on company initiatives
  2. Create action plans with Store Leadership to drive profitability, deliver efficiencies and increase value through evolution of the service
  3. Partner with teams across Stores, Store Operations, and HR providing financial support tethered to data and insights ensuring proactive visibility into future labor implications with a sharp focus on risks, opportunities, and business levers
  4. Lead forecasting, close, and reporting processes including partnership with business and corporate finance, focused on monthly and quarterly goals with clear understanding of trends and implications for the year
  5. Provide support, leadership and coaching for team of individual contributors through clear vision, prioritization, and support to achieve financial and business objectives

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Finance or Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in finance (retail finance preferred)
