Senior Manager role for Amazon's Gift Card business, focusing on end-to-end fraud prevention strategy. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the WW Gift Card fraud prevention strategy and bad debt goal including CX metrics, and operational metrics.
  2. Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of fraud product / program managers, analysts, and BI professionals; attract and retain top talent.
  3. Drive the fraud prevention roadmap end-to-end — prioritizing ML model enhancements, detection signals, enforcement mechanisms, and external data-sharing partnerships.
  4. Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with BRP, ML Science, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to deploy mitigations that balance risk reduction with customer experience and business growth.
  5. Own executive reporting (WBR/MBR/QBR) and represent fraud prevention in VP-level reviews; translate complex fraud dynamics into clear narratives and actionable strategies

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • 8+ years of team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • 5+ years of fraud identification and detection, investigation and analysis for root causing and providing suitable preventive mechanisms experience
