Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, Global Distribution Network Strategy to lead initiatives for DePuy Synthes' global distribution and warehousing network. This role involves designing network strategies, evaluating scenarios, building financial models, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support business growth and resilience in a regulated environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead global distribution and warehousing network strategy initiatives, including footprint design, capacity planning, and make/buy analyses.
  2. Develop and evaluate long‑term network scenarios to support business growth, product innovation, and regional market needs.
  3. Partner cross functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and Commercial teams to align network strategy with business priorities.
  4. Build financial and operational models to assess cost, service, risk, and investment trade‑offs across the global network.
  5. Support strategic capital investment planning and provide recommendations to senior leadership.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, operations strategy, or network design roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing global distribution or supply network strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regulated, complex, or global operating environment.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Prior experience supporting capital investment planning or large‑scale network transformations.
  • Familiarity with advanced network modeling tools and scenario planning methodologies.
  • Experience working in matrixed, global organizations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership or indirect team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to evaluate complex trade‑offs.
  • English required; additional languages a plus.
