Sr. Manager, Identity & Access Management

This role is for a Sr. Manager of Identity & Access Management at Gong, a company that uses AI to transform revenue teams. The manager will lead and scale a modern identity program, owning the vision, architecture, and operations of IAM to ensure secure and efficient access for all employees. This includes leading a team, partnering with other departments, and enabling identity as a business function.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
  • at least 3+ years in a people-management or technical leadership role
  • Proven experience owning and operating enterprise identity platforms
  • Deep understanding of authentication and authorization standards
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing RBAC/ABAC models and least-privilege access in a SaaS-heavy environment
  • Experience with access governance/IGA (access reviews, certifications, SoD)
  • supporting audit and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of core IT infrastructure and SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Zoom, endpoint management tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Security, IT, HR, and business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
