This role is responsible for integrating digital sourcing functions into Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation initiatives, focusing on collaborating with suppliers and developing category strategies for enterprise collaboration tools and services, particularly Microsoft products. The candidate will leverage experience in software, hardware, and labor supplier management, contract negotiations, and project management to achieve technical, financial, and performance objectives, driving cost savings through strategic sourcing and procurement processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drives contract requirements and negotiations, primarily for software and labor suppliers related to end user environment with a concentration on Microsoft.
  2. Assess and onboard new suppliers as needed
  3. Aligns with Digital IT stakeholders on vendor consolidation activities to drive contract savings
  4. Develops, manages, and partners with stakeholders on an integrated master schedule of engagements, renewals, RFXs, etc.
  5. Facilitate supplier performance reviews, benchmarks & reporting

Skills

Required

  • Extensive experience in sourcing roles, including creating sourcing roadmaps, category strategies, licensing/asset management, risk management, and requirement change management.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft products, cloud solutions, and product roadmaps, coupled with strong negotiation and contract drafting skills for various agreement types.
  • Proven ability to develop supplier strategies for software contracts, manage licensing, maintenance, and support, and collaborate with stakeholders to balance supplier needs, customer experience, and affordability.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in financial analysis, strategy development, and hands-on experience with sourcing tools like Ariba (or similar) for procurement and contract management.

Nice to have

  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years Consulting, Sourcing and Procurement Management with at least 3 years in Digital IT preferred
  • Strong project management skills and ability to convert requirements into executable strategies, and ability to develop and manage an integrated master schedule (PMP® a plus)
  • Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
  • Ability to develop effective presentations and documents used for leadership reviews
