This role is for a Senior Manager of Maintenance and Automation Controls Engineering in the automotive industry. The primary focus is on leading maintenance teams, implementing standardized processes, driving problem-solving, and improving equipment reliability and uptime through predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. It involves managing technical teams and ensuring operational efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead maintenance teams to reduce MTTR and increase MTBF.
  2. Implement and drive problem-solving techniques to understand root cause in failure and develop countermeasures from recurrence.
  3. Lead interface between leadership, maintenance, and engineering.
  4. Support JPH and OEE improvements, through continuous improvement and project work.
  5. Seek predictive and preventative methodology for reduced downtime – and scrub PM plans for optimization of maintenance tasks.
