This role focuses on driving PayPal's regional wallet strategy in LATAM, emphasizing complex deal-making, strategic consulting, data-driven insights, and multi-market partnership execution. The Sr. Manager will oversee tactical plans, cultivate partner relationships, negotiate agreements, coordinate internal teams, monitor performance, identify collaboration opportunities, and respond to industry changes. The role requires experience in fintech, payments, partnerships, or BD in LATAM, knowledge of local payment systems, and strong negotiation skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee tactical plans to execute the payment partnership strategy effectively.
  2. Cultivate and manage relationships with mid-to-senior-level stakeholders at partner organizations.
  3. Negotiate agreements that align with strategic goals and deliver value to both parties.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, legal) to implement partnership initiatives.
  5. Monitor partnership performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6–12+ years of experience in fintech, payments, partnerships, consulting, or BD in LATAM.
  • Knowledge of PIX, SPEI, and open finance.
  • Strong negotiation experience with LATAM fintechs.
  • Fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) or Spanish (Mexico), plus English.
