Sr. Manager, Product/Pipeline Communications – Trauma is responsible for shaping and delivering compelling product and pipeline narratives for the Trauma portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate complex clinical and technical information into clear, compliant, and impactful communications that support product launches, lifecycle management, and future innovation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and execution of integrated product and pipeline communication strategies for the Trauma portfolio across internal and external audiences.
  2. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial) to align messaging with business strategy and clinical evidence.
  3. Create and oversee core messaging, value propositions, launch narratives, and pipeline storytelling to support product launches and portfolio growth.
  4. Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  5. Manage agency partners and external vendors to deliver high‑quality communications deliverables on time and within budget.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing communications, or corporate communications, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Proven experience leading product and/or pipeline communications for complex portfolios.
  • Strong ability to translate technical and clinical concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Demonstrated success working in highly matrixed, cross‑functional environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Trauma, Orthopedics, or surgical medical device portfolios.
  • Familiarity with global product launch processes and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements impacting healthcare communications.
  • Experience with executive‑level communications and leadership messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
