The Senior Product Manager will drive the vision and strategy for innovative products in AMD's Client product portfolio, focusing on PC competitor roadmaps, product strategy, costs, and performance. This role involves working with technical teams, product planners, architects, and platform experts to develop a winning roadmap that meets market needs and customer expectations. The candidate will also engage with customers, define product positioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and launch.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and articulate product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals. Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive intelligence.
  2. Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business objectives.
  3. Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
  4. Engage with customers to gather insights and feedback. Conduct user interviews, surveys, focus groups or advisory councils to understand needs and validate product concepts.
  5. Create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences. Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies.
