This role is for a Sr. Manager responsible for leading the global Travel and Expense (T&E) function at T-Mobile. The responsibilities include owning the end-to-end program, setting goals, developing operational strategies, leading talent planning, partnering with various teams, ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX, and driving continuous improvement through automation and data-driven decision-making. The role requires management experience and significant experience in Travel & Expense or related operational functions. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end‑to‑end global Travel, Expense & Corporate Card program, including but not limited to expense management, travel, duty of care, and corporate card functions.
  2. Sets goals, priorities, and performance standards across teams, ensuring alignment to Magenta Service Center strategic objectives
  3. Develops and executes operational strategies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and service quality across functions
  4. Leads talent planning and succession efforts; coaches and mentors emerging leaders
  5. Acts as a strategic partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams to resolve complex issues and support enterprise initiatives
  6. Ensures compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements across all teams
  7. Drives continuous improvement through automation, data-driven decision-making, and adoption of best practices in shared services

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 2-4 years - Management experience
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Travel & Expense, corporate travel, expense management, corporate card or related operational functions
  • Strategic Leadership Set vision and direction across multiple teams or functions to support enterprise goals and optimize Travel & Expense performance
  • Organizational Influence: Collaborate across departments and leadership levels to drive alignment, resolve escalated issues, and support change initiatives
