The Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management will drive the Strategic Capacity Management (SCM) process for the Wound Closure & Healing platform within Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This role involves understanding Long-Range Portfolio Plans (LRPP), feeding them into SCM models, and supporting Value Stream Management (VSM) and Network Strategy. The position will lead and orchestrate the SCM process globally, evaluate long-term supply chain scenarios (2-10 year horizon), identify critical demand and supply situations, and provide insights and recommendations for major business decisions, potentially involving multi-million dollar investments. The role requires seamless integration with business stakeholders, leading process improvement with a customer-first mentality, and demonstrating influence without authority in executive communication and networking.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Strategic Planning governance: Drive the annual process cadence and communications.
  2. Proactively identify business opportunities related not only to capacity issues in our net
  3. Seamlessly integrate with the various business stakeholders who are accountable for providing modeling inputs, as well as internal customers who will leverage conclusions of SCM models.
  4. Lead process improvement efforts with a Customer first mentality, generating trust with internal customers and using technology to reduce lags in process cycles and speed to deliver data/analysis.
  5. Lead with Problem-solving approach, finding middle ground between different partners, to bridge gaps in data availability and create feasible models/scenarios
