Sr. Manager, Strategy and Operations Lead

This role is for a Sr. Manager, Strategy and Operations Lead within Deloitte's Tax service line. The position focuses on setting and executing strategic vision, driving operational effectiveness, and contributing to the growth of market offerings. Responsibilities include developing strategies, managing strategic projects, leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and preparing leadership communications. The role requires a background in accounting or professional services, strong project management, strategic and tactical thinking, and executive communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Development of strategies (in alignment with Global T&L and overall MF strategies) and management of portfolio of strategic projects
  2. Leadership and management of special complex projects with multiple work streams and multiple stakeholders, some confidential or time sensitive
  3. Development of context for leadership-level communication with various stakeholders including country, regional/MF, and global and external stakeholders
  4. Work with the stakeholders, offering leaders, and MF T&L Leaders on behalf of global GES leadership to move forward topics/projects on their own, and to create content that can be disseminated to the GES practice and the public (as appropriate)
  5. Respond to queries on behalf of global GES leadership which would mean having a close operational and strategic understanding of the business and knowing when to consult and when tot assume responsibility.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of related experience with Deloitte Tax or other tax consulting firm in a client facing or management level support role
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
