Support PayPal’s transfer pricing controversy function, managing audits, examinations, and dispute resolution with tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
Oversee the lifecycle management of APAs and MAPs—from drafting and submission to ongoing monitoring, renewal, and implementation—ensuring accurate documentation, coordination with global stakeholders, and timely resolution.
Draft and coordinate responses to tax authority information requests, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with PayPal’s global tax positions and documentation standards.
Drive operational excellence, leveraging technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency across controversy and planning workflows.
Stay current on transfer pricing developments and news that could affect PayPal’s transfer pricing positions. Identify and drive process improvements through automation and AI solutions.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters with global tax authorities.
Deep knowledge of OECD guidelines, BEPS initiatives, and current global transfer pricing landscape.
Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage large‑scale, complex projects in a dynamic and rapidly evolving business and tax environment while maintaining attention to detail and strategic perspective.
Experience and interest in tax structuring and M&A integration, including due diligence, risk assessment, and post-acquisition integration.
Ability to maintain composure and sound judgment under pressure from audits or negotiations.
Highly organized, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with SAP preferred.
