CoreWeave is seeking a Sr. Manager, White Space Design to lead the design of white space infrastructure and fit-out across their global data center portfolio. This role involves owning the White Space Basis of Design, performing technical reviews of infrastructure layouts, power, and cooling, and managing internal and external design resources. The position requires collaboration with construction and operations teams to ensure scalable and constructable designs.

What you'd actually do

  1. leads the design of white space infrastructure and fit-out across CoreWeave’s expanding data center portfolio
  2. own the development and administration of the White Space Basis of Design
  3. performing comprehensive technical reviews of infrastructure layouts, power distribution, and cooling configurations
  4. act as both a hands-on technical expert and a manager of internal and external design resources, including third-party consultants
  5. collaborate daily with cross-functional construction and operations teams to ensure all designs are scalable, constructable, and seamlessly handed off for deployment

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 15+ years of experience in data center design, mission-critical infrastructure engineering, or white space design leadership
  • Direct experience with data center white space infrastructure systems, including PDUs, RPPs, busways, branch circuits, hot aisle containment systems, remote CDUs, fan walls, and high-density cooling strategies
  • Experience working as a consulting engineer, design consultant, or owner’s representative overseeing third-party design consultants
  • Documented knowledge of low voltage infrastructure systems, including structured cabling, ladder rack, cable tray systems, overhead conveyance, and network pathway coordination
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, submittmits, RFIs, and design change documentation
  • Hands-on proficiency with engineering and project management tools, specifically AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Asana, Smartsheets, or equivalent platforms
  • Compliance and working knowledge of data center design standards and industry guidelines, including TIA-942, BICSI, ASHRAE, NFPA, and Uptime Institute

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, High-Performance Computing (HPC), or high-density compute environments
  • Practical familiarity with capacity planning, scalability modeling, and design standardization
