The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role focuses on scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, communication of product data, strategic analysis of therapeutic areas, support for clinical operations, medical education, and network building within the field of prostate cancer. The role involves training healthcare professionals on medical devices and preparing scientific literature. This is a product-focused role within the healthcare domain, not directly related to AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

Skills

Required

  • Completed studies in medicine, natural sciences, or pharmacy
  • Sufficient scientific experience in a human medical-clinical context
  • Willingness to be present in the treatment room and accompany the introduction of the device
  • Ability to perform supportive non-medical or non-nursing activities after appropriate training and in close coordination with the treating medical team (e.g., technical support with handling, instruction of the team regarding device functionality)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work autonomously in the region

Nice to have

  • PhD preferred
  • Ideally experience in uro-oncology, particularly in the area of bladder cancer
  • Experience in clinical study planning and investigator engagement
  • An existing network in professional societies and with KOLs in the uro-oncology area
  • Experience in Medical Education, Advisory Boards and congress and project management
  • Experience in a clinical environment (hospital, outpatient treatment) as well as the associated use of medical devices.
