Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr Mgr MSL (Medical Science Liaison) with a Doctoral/Advanced Degree and 8+ years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. The role involves developing and implementing strategic engagement plans with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, providing scientific and medical education, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine, clinical research methodologies, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Travel up to 60% is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the development and implementation of strategic engagement plans to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, surgeons, operating room staff, and relevant medical societies in the Heart Recovery field.
  2. Act as a scientific authority in Heart Recovery, providing medical and scientific education to internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Medical Officers, and Research & Development, to provide scientific input and insights.
  4. Communicate & streamline complex scientific information effectively to healthcare professionals, ensuring a clear understanding of the benefits and clinical utility of our Heart Recovery platforms e.g., provide clinical support during voice of customers sessions.
  5. Stay up to date with the latest scientific research, medical publications, and emerging trends in Heart Recovery to provide up-to-date insights and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Required

  • Doctoral / Advanced Degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA, or equivalent)
  • 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs / Clinical Sciences / Medical Science Liaison
  • Experience in cardiovascular medicine
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine
  • Insights within the interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery space
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies
  • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data quickly and accurately
