This role focuses on translating global medical goals into local strategies and tactics to improve patient outcomes in China within a defined therapeutic area, likely oncology. Responsibilities include building trust with the scientific community, providing medical input to brand strategy and lifecycle management, supporting clinical trials, generating study concepts from local data, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves reviewing promotional materials and ensuring compliance with local laws and company regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Translate the Global Medical Goals and Strategies into research, data analysis, scientific communication, educational, and other tactics and solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance access in China.
  2. Build trust with external scientific community via peer-to-peer scientific exchange, research and educational collaborations, interactions with scientific societies and health organizations, publications, or other.
  3. In charge of the defined therapeutic area and is taking the overall responsibility to provide medical input to brand strategy, including new product launch, product positioning and differentiation, mature product’s life cycle management, product crisis management, reimbursement, listing, bidding and market access, etc.
  4. Provide medical input to medical information team in setting up medical query responding systems in defined therapeutic area.
  5. Provide medical input in feasibility studies for global trials.
