We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate and resourceful Machine Learning Engineers to bring diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to make Prime Video even better for our customers. You will spend your time as a hands-on machine learning practitioner and engineering leader. You will play a key role on the team, building and guiding machine learning models from the ground up. Key job responsibilities Develop AI solutions for various Prime Video Recommendation and Personalization systems using Deep learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, and optimization methods;
Work closely with applied scientists, engineers and product managers to design, implement and launch AI solutions end-to-end;
Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on in-depth data analyses;
Effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders;
Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field;
About the team Prime Video Recommendation Science and Engineering team owns ML solution to power recommendation and personalization experience on various Prime Video surfaces and devices.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience with large scale machine learning system or application
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization or search experience
- Experience with building large scale recommendation system

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
