Rivian is seeking a Sr. Payroll Coordinator II to support payroll operations for their manufacturing plant's hourly workforce. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing timekeeping, and providing employee support, while partnering with various internal teams and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the accurate and timely processing of weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll for hourly manufacturing employees.
  2. Review and validate employee time records, attendance, overtime, shift differentials, premiums, and other payroll-related transactions.
  3. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, missed punches, pay adjustments, and employee inquiries.
  4. Serve as the site subject matter expert for the timekeeping system.
  5. Monitor daily timekeeping activity and partner with supervisors to resolve exceptions and approve time records.
