Sr. Principal Engineer Project Engineering (onsite)

This role is for a Sr. Principal Engineer, Lead Project Engineer at RTX, focusing on technical leadership and decision-making for aerospace engine development programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Technical execution of engineering activities for programs
  2. Manage the assigned program activity in alignment with the respective PW Management system manual processes as well as all other applicable project management procedures.
  3. Ensure all engineering activity is appropriately planned, baselined, and tracked via Earn Value Management Systems (EVMS). Ensure all IPTs are tracking to their plans.
  4. Manage overall program milestones through tracking and providing execution communication
  5. Coordinate overall program technical communications

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
