What you'd actually do

  1. Extensive requirements experience and implement and manages system requirement changes in the Requirements Management databases under direction of more experienced engineers.
  2. Revises and manages both original and revised specification/interface definition document and expedites documents through signature approval process.
  3. Manages the requirements verification database provided to the customer, to ensure, as the system design/build matures, that it satisfies each system requirement.
  4. Modifies management tracking reports for a variety of systems engineering performance parameters, resource metrics and design margins.
  5. May also be required to support proposal-writing efforts for Systems Engineering.

Skills

Required

  • STEM Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of related engineering experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active US DoD Interim secret security clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments

  • Experience writing, validating, or verifying interface requirements
  • Experience utilizing and working with DOORS
  • Knowledge of launch vehicles
