Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Flight Test Technician in Mojave, CA. The role involves performing production and flight line testing and maintenance, including pre and post-flight inspections, refueling, aircraft towing, and repairs. Responsibilities include testing, rework, repair of mechanical systems, working with engineering on critical components, and troubleshooting complex equipment. Requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, a Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain SAP clearance. Experience with wire harness building, structures, and interpreting technical documents is necessary.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performs production and flight line testing and maintenance.
  2. Will support and perform flight operations including but not limited to pre and post flight inspections, refueling operations, aircraft towing and jacking.
  3. Can perform repairs, modifications, installations, and test mechanical systems.
  4. Performs duties / functions of test personnel in area(s) of assignment.
  5. Performs testing, rework, and repair in various fields of specialization.
