This role is for a Sr. Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst at Northrop Grumman, focusing on developing and managing integrated master plans and schedules for defense programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
  2. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
  3. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
  4. Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in program planning, scheduling, or related fields OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience OR 12 years of applicable work experience
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Project
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices

Nice to have

  • Experience in material cost management
  • Strong proficiency with EVM
  • Experience with SAP and MPM &/or COBRA
