This role is for a Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Northrop Grumman, focusing on managing material cost, performance, and budgets for assigned programs. Responsibilities include forecasting, analyzing lead times, managing procurements, and interfacing with various program functions. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain or business management, Cost Accounting Management (CAM) experience, and experience with ERP systems. Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Managing, reporting, and forecasting material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
  2. Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
  3. Acting as the CAM with program PLATO/EV/CEAC/EAC activities
  4. Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements
  5. Managing on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management
  • Cost Accounting Management (CAM) experience
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning
  • Experience in SAP (or any other ERP system)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice to have

  • Material management experience
  • Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
  • Experience coaching teams and leading change initiatives with demonstrated results
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance.
