Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (integration & Test)

Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman · Aerospace · Rolling Meadows, IL +1 · Systems/Architecture/Test

Senior Principal Systems Engineer focused on integration and test for complex electronic systems (EOIR, RFEW) in defense applications. Requires extensive experience in test plan generation, execution, troubleshooting, and collaboration across disciplines, with a strong emphasis on hardware/software integration and verification.

What you'd actually do

  1. conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation to ensure that the systems we make work – and work well.
  2. generation of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities (system integration, design verification tests, qualification tests, etc.) in system integration labs (SILs) or offsite locations.
  3. gains an understanding of the systems engineering process across a product's lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate.
