Sr. Procurement Specialist (onsite)

This role is for a Sr. Procurement Specialist at RTX, focusing on supply chain analysis and risk mitigation. The specialist acts as a liaison between various departments (Program, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance) and the Procurement organization. Responsibilities include reviewing escalated issues, approving change orders, coordinating simulations for demand requirements, supporting strategic product line reviews, identifying and mitigating risks, and managing inventory disposal. The role requires a University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and 90% English proficiency. Experience in Supply Chain roles and ERP systems is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supply Chain professional who is the primary liaison between Program, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance and the Procurement organization
  2. Owns internal relationships, providing strategic supply analysis needed to reduce and mitigate Manufacturing Flow Inhibitors
  3. Reviews escalated mismatches and ensured the appropriate level of support is in place for items driving impacts to the business
  4. Reviews and approves Change Orders for the programs they support and assists with part changes in a redesign issue
  5. Coordinates short lead time simulation requests sent to Procurement to review customer requests to support demand requirements within the total replenishment lead time

Skills

Required

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
  • minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • 90% English level - Proficiency and fluency in English skills
