Sr. Product Associate - Intake and Workflow Card Marketing Transformation

This role focuses on modernizing marketing campaign execution by building automated intake and workflow capabilities. It involves translating marketer needs into requirements, improving governance, and supporting AI-assisted recommendations to reduce manual effort within a regulated fintech environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support product vision and roadmap execution by documenting goals, aligning work to larger Card Marketing Transformation priorities, and helping track progress against success metrics.
  2. Partner with marketers and channel teams to understand intake needs, clarify inputs, and surface recurring friction points to drive platform improvements.
  3. Translate needs into buildable requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow steps, data requirements), ensuring clarity for design and engineering teams.
  4. Help manage and refine the backlog by organizing epics/stories, maintaining prioritization artifacts, and supporting sprint planning and grooming ceremonies.
  5. Contribute to catalog-aware intake patterns (offer, audience, journey) by helping define required fields, validation rules, and pre-population logic.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in product, business analysis, marketing operations, marketing technology, strategy/ops, or program delivery in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements (user stories, workflow steps, data fields, acceptance criteria).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable facilitating working sessions and documenting outcomes.
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving skills; able to identify root causes of rework and propose improvements.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery practices and common tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence and collaboration platforms).
  • Comfort partnering across technology, design, data, and controls with a collaborative, team-first approach.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to intake platforms, workflow automation (e.g., BPMN/workflow tools), or campaign orchestration concepts.
  • Familiarity with reusable libraries/catalog concepts (content, offers, audiences) and how structured data improves execution.
  • Exposure to experimentation, measurement frameworks, or time-to-market tracking.
  • Interest in AI-assisted recommendations/agentic workflows, including human-in-the-loop review and controls.
