This role focuses on designing and developing front-end experiences for the AWS Events Mobile App, with a specific emphasis on creating the conversational UI for an AI assistant. The candidate will integrate generative AI responses into the client layer and ship interactive experiences for event attendees. While the role involves AI, it's primarily focused on the user interface and integration rather than core AI model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and develop front-end features for the AWS Events Mobile App (React Native), delivering seamless cross-platform experiences for iOS and Android.
  2. Translate UX wireframes and high-fidelity mockups into responsive, accessible, and performant mobile components.
  3. Own and evolve the mobile design system, ensuring consistency across screens and releases.
  4. Design the front-end conversational UI for the Concierge AI assistant, enabling attendees to get personalized session recommendations, wayfinding, and real-time event support into multi-modal interactions that feel natural and delightful.
  5. Partner with engineers to integrate generative-AI responses seamlessly into the client layer

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
  • coding samples in front end programming languages
  • available online portfolio
  • Experience developing visually polished, engaging, and highly fluid UX prototypes
  • Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and technical partners

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of databases and AWS database services: ElasticSearch, Redshift, DynamoDB
  • Experience with machine learning (ML) tools and methods
