Sr. Product Manager , Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services - Prevention

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Santa Monica, CA · Project/Program/Product Management--Non-Tech

Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy for cargo security and risk prevention within Amazon's global logistics network. The role involves building new products and evolving existing roadmaps to protect inventory, utilizing machine learning for real-time monitoring and predictive risk detection. This position requires defining product vision, driving cross-functional execution with engineering and data science, and scaling ML-powered solutions into production.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for cargo integrity and prevention services, including building new product lines and evolving existing capabilities that reduce inventory loss across the transportation network.
  2. Lead customer and stakeholder discovery to identify the highest-impact pain points in transportation reliability, synthesizing insights from operational data, carrier performance metrics, and cross-functional interviews into a clear, prioritized product strategy.
  3. Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with engineering, data science, operations, and business intelligence teams to deliver both near-term improvements and long-term strategic capabilities — setting shared goals, resolving trade-offs, and maintaining momentum across workstreams.
  4. Build and scale machine-learning-powered solutions for predictive risk detection, real-time shipment monitoring, and carrier compliance — working closely with applied scientists and engineers to translate models from research into production-ready products.
  5. Establish success metrics, reporting mechanisms, and operational feedback loops that quantify product and business impact, inform continuous improvement, and provide leadership with clear visibility into risk trends and prevention effectiveness.
