Sr Product Manager, Design Systems

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · San Francisco, CA +1

Product Manager for Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), focusing on platform health, roadmap, and developer/designer tools. The role involves shaping UI customization, managing the design systems website, and ensuring platform maintenance and backward compatibility. It requires strong collaboration with engineering, design, and accessibility specialists.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape the product roadmap for SLDS UI customization, covering both the pro-code to no-code/low-code user customization spectrum.
  2. Drive the product roadmap for the Design Systems website, the primary destination for developer and designer documentation, component references, and contribution guidance.
  3. Own the backlog and release roadmap for SLDS 1 and SLDS 2: balancing new enhancements, bug resolution, technical debt, and ongoing compliance work to keep the system healthy and trustworthy at scale.
