Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager on the Customer & Developer Experience team, you will be responsible for defining and owning the roadmap for critical platform capabilities that power client onboarding and shape how both customers and internal users experience our platform. Positioned at the very start of the customer onboarding journey, this role focuses on streamlining and accelerating initial platform setup while also improving the scalability, resilience, and usability of our services and internal tools. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners to drive high‑impact initiatives from concept to production, ensuring strong technical execution and clear, outcome‑driven product direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the product roadmap for core platform capabilities related to client onboarding and user experience
- Streamlining and accelerating the initial platform setup process for new clients
- Improving the scalability, resilience, and reliability of existing platform services
- Enhancing internal tools to make them more powerful, intuitive, and efficient
- Partnering closely with stakeholders across engineering, design, and business teams to evaluate customer and business value
- Scoping, planning, and leading new features from discovery through production and ongoing evolution
- Working hands‑on with engineering teams, diving into technical details and guiding trade‑offs and prioritization
- Ensuring features are successfully delivered, operated, and continuously improved
- Translating complex technical and platform work into clear, outcome‑focused roadmaps
- Applying strong product judgment to balance short‑term impact with long‑term platform strategy
- Leveraging fluency in web applications, REST APIs, and internal system integrations to drive effective product decisions
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience owning software platform roadmaps, including web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate goals, requirements, and expectations to cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization.
Business proficiency in English required (C1 level).
Strong product management skills, with proven experience in discovery, customer and market research, feature scoping, roadmap ownership, and prioritization of complex feature sets.
Hands-on and technically curious, with a willingness to dive into technical details, read API docs, experiment with endpoints, and collaborate closely with engineering. Proven commitment to quality throughout the product life cycle, including non-functional aspects such as integrity, resilience, and scalability. Proficiency with product analytics to measure customer and business, validate decisions, and uncover meaningful opportunities for improvement. Comfortable leading in Agile environments, with the ability to balance working independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Experience in Fintech, Banking, Payments, or IT is a plus.
