Sr. Product Manager, Peripheral Downstream - Shockwave Medical

This role is for a Sr. Product Manager in the Peripheral Downstream division of Shockwave Medical at Johnson & Johnson. The primary focus is on developing and executing global and US marketing strategies, including product positioning, value propositions, education programs, demand forecasting, and market analysis. The role involves collaborating with various internal and external groups, conducting market research, engaging with key opinion leaders, and understanding market trends. A Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of product management experience, preferably in cardiovascular medtech, are required, along with experience bringing new products to market and sales force engagement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive global & US strategies for marketing programs and campaigns including: product positioning, and clinical and economic value proposition, messages and collateral, sales and physician education programs, product demand forecasts, analysis of business performance against objectives, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed, conferences/tradeshows, customer engagement priorities, and booth playbook
  2. Champion product commercialization activities across multiple internal and external groups by collaborating with and influencing operations, regulatory, clinical, quality, sales, sales training, medical affairs, etc.
  3. Lead market research to understand behaviors, test messaging and identify opportunities.
  4. Establish relationships with key opinion leaders in the field and work with them to develop content for our marketing channels.
  5. Acquire and analyze feedback from key opinion leaders, current and potential customers, third-party market research and internal stakeholders.
