This role focuses on leading the strategy, development, and optimization of tools and workflows for end-to-end product lifecycle management within Amazon's Consumables Private Brands. It involves driving scalable systems for product commercialization, launch, and maintenance, working closely with product and tech teams to streamline processes and enable faster innovation and compliance. The role builds and enhances systems for various stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch monitoring, and aims to reduce manual processes through automation and integration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the strategy, development, and optimization of tools and workflows that power end-to-end product lifecycle management for Worldwide Consumables Private Brands (CPB) products.
  2. Own the product strategy and vision for CPB's PLM and workflows, driving harmonization to regional CPB teams and across product families.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-market and process efficiency through workflow optimization and automation.
  4. Build and enhance systems supporting: (1) product ideation and intake, (2) specification management, (3) packaging and labeling, (4) sustainability and compliance, (5) supplier collaboration, (6) product launch readiness, and (7) post-launch monitoring and updates.
  5. Translate business needs into clear product requirements and technical specifications.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

Nice to have

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
