Sr Product Manager – Pricing

Sr. Product Manager for Pricing at Target, focusing on enterprise-wide price management. This role involves leading the vision, strategy, and roadmap for price decisioning, including expanding the use of AI and explainability for algorithmic recommendations. The product manager will partner with data science, operations, and engineering teams to develop business cases and deliver a flagship Price Product. Experience with forecasting, clustering, and GenAI is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the vision, strategy, and capability development of the centralized price management capability for the Enterprise.
  2. Drive innovation through ownership of roadmap price decisioning that includes expanding use of AI and explainability of algorithmic recommendations.
  3. Partner with Pricing Strategy and Operations you’ll evaluate current strategies, decide how to set the best price for Target using deep competitive intelligence, data science forecasting models, and adaptable financial and vendor partner guardrails.
  4. Develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product.
  5. Lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of product management experience with domain experience in algorithmic operational decisioning applications
  • Experience leading product roadmaps in data science leveraging techniques such as forecasting, clustering, and GenAI
  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
  • Strong communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with user research methods and collaboration with UX partners
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in business case development for product prioritization
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
