Sr. Product Manager, Sales Optimization and Planning

Senior Product Manager for a sales optimization and planning product (Axiom) used by Amazon Devices. The role involves owning product workstreams end-to-end, partnering with science and engineering teams on AI/ML models (pricing optimization, demand forecasting, recommendation systems, GenAI insights), and shipping customer-facing features. The goal is to replace manual planning with intelligent, automated systems impacting hundreds of millions in device sales.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own a product workstream end-to-end: Define the product vision, write BRDs, PR/FAQs, and user stories. Drive prioritization, make trade-off decisions, and manage the roadmap for your area.
  2. Partner with Science and Engineering: Work with applied scientists on pricing optimization models, demand forecasting, and ML-powered recommendation systems. Translate science model capabilities into product experiences that users trust and adopt.
  3. Ship customer-facing features: Define and deliver features across the Axiom platform, including Homepage dashboards, planning workflows, price recommendation widgets, GenAI-powered insights, and data visualization tools.
  4. Drive adoption and trust: Work directly with Sales Leaders and Product Line managers to understand their workflows, gather feedback, and iterate on features. Measure success through adoption metrics, time savings, and forecast accuracy improvements.
  5. Leverage AI/ML and GenAI: Identify opportunities to apply generative AI, large language models, and machine learning to planning workflows — from automated summaries and anomaly detection to AI-driven price recommendations.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
