This role is for a Senior Product Manager, Tech, focused on Alexa Daily Essentials, leveraging generative AI to build the next-generation AI-assistant for millions of customers. The role involves driving product strategy, roadmap, and technical specifications, collaborating with science, engineering, and design partners to create engaging productivity scenarios. The candidate will own part of the Alexa Productivity Essentials initiative, defining vision and strategy, and ensuring experiences leverage new AI innovations. The ideal candidate has strong product leadership, technical skills, and a customer-centric mindset with a history of launching products, particularly those leveraging AI/ML and NLU.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the architectural and platform vision for the product space
  2. Own the roadmap and translate customer requirement into technical specifications
  3. Collaborate closely with developers and engineering managers to drive and prioritize the roadmaps and make technical decisions and tradeoffs connected to your product space
  4. Recognize and scope new customer opportunities, translating customer needs into business and system requirements
  5. Drive project schedules from design to launch

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
