Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Private Brands

This role is for a Sr. Product Manager - Technical to own and drive products within Private Brands Central, a product lifecycle management solution for worldwide Amazon Private Brands. The goal is to reduce time to market and enhance productivity by rethinking retail development and product management norms, with a focus on automating retail tasks with Gen AI. The role involves setting vision, building solutions from scratch, and working across strategic businesses with global stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive products within PBC
  2. Define requirements and gain alignment to deliver a seamless product experience for your modules
  3. Set the vision and build solutions from scratch
  4. Identify risks and be a true product owner
  5. Develop an externalized module for sourcing Request For Quotations (RFQs) from APB suppliers, launch an automated process to manage sustainability and quality related claims for APB products, and automate ASIN and Detail Page creation on Amazon systems.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice to have

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences
