What you'd actually do

  1. Define bold product visions and strategies, working backwards from our customers.
  2. Own products that span multiple teams and customers (Selling Partners, Vendors, Amazon Businesses, Accounting, Finance, and Engineering) from ideation stage to launch.
  3. Bring a product culture to engineering teams, and partner closely with engineering teams and across organizations to unblock the roadmap, seek input, and deliver on initiatives.
  4. Leverage high judgment to prioritize opportunities that drive the most strategic value; working with across the organization to scope design effort, set/track goals and triage incoming priorities.
  5. Develop and write proposals and business plans, gain approval from stakeholders (e.g., adjacent product managers, legal, PR) and leadership to move those plans forward.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice to have

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity, with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting
  • Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services to drive business value.
