What you'd actually do

  1. Chart and execute a course for delivering personalized shopping experience on both Amazon Search and Product pages
  2. Obsess over your customers and work backwards to define tenets, customer experiences, long-term goals, focus areas and key success metrics.
  3. Develop and present working backwards documents and product plans (PRFAQs)
  4. Drive intake, planning, and prioritization of feature and enhancement requests in close partnership with engineering, science, and product partners across Amazon
  5. Influence senior leaders across Amazon by proactively communicating your vision, reporting plans and progress, and aligning with Amazon's core leadership principles

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice to have

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
