This role is for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager focused on Azure Partner Communications. The primary responsibility is to shape how Azure marketing moments, product news, and partner thought leadership are communicated across various channels to partners. The role involves translating complex Azure innovation into compelling narratives, owning to-partner communications strategy for marketing moments, and supporting partner engagement at Microsoft events. It requires cross-functional collaboration with solutions marketing, product marketing, partner programs, field teams, and external partners to deliver a high-impact partner experience. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, has an outside-in partner mindset, and can execute outbound partner communications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the planning and execution of topartner communications strategy for Azure and partner hero marketing moments (e.g., launches, campaigns, partner initiatives).
  2. Translate Azure priorities into clear, compelling partner narratives delivered through owned, social, and thirdparty channels.
  3. Act as a lead for partner communications orchestration ensuring message consistency, timing, and amplification across channels.
  4. Support partner engagement and experience across Microsoft events (like Ignite), aligning partner messaging with Azure priorities and marketing moments.
  5. Partner closely with enablement, readiness, and program teams to ensure learning assets are discoverable, relevant, and actionable for partners

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing or partner marketing OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing or partner marketing OR equivalent GTM experience.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience creating incentive plans for partners in the software industry
  • Experience in cloud services and/or applications.
  • 8+ years experience in product marketing or partner marketing in the software industry with a focus on service partners.
