Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Partners

Rubrik Rubrik · Enterprise · Palo Alto, CA · Marketing

Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Partners at Rubrik, a company focused on data protection, cyber resilience, and AI acceleration. The role involves owning the go-to-market narrative and field execution across a strategic partner ecosystem, including major cloud and security partners. This includes developing joint positioning, messaging, sales tools, partner playbooks, and co-branded campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue. The role requires strong storytelling, execution, and ecosystem fluency in a high-growth B2B technology environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Translate the Tech: Take complex, multi-vendor solution architectures and turn them into simple, urgent, and differentiated stories that cut through in a crowded market.
  2. Master the Chess Board: Maintain a relentless pulse on the competitive landscape across each partner category, cloud, security, and infrastructure. Keep our positioning steps ahead of market shifts.
  3. Boardroom to Basement: Develop joint positioning and messaging for co-sell and partner-led motions that hold up in the field. Technically credible and executive-ready.
  4. Execute High-Velocity Launches: Lead high-impact joint launches, from solution announcements to partner event activations, that generate real pipeline and market momentum.
  5. Build the "Win" Engine: Create the sales tools, partner playbooks, and competitive battlecards that equip both Rubrik's field and partner sales teams to win.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in a high-growth B2B technology environment.
  • Experience operating within large, matrixed organizations or partner ecosystems, such as a major cloud provider, large-scale ISV, or a company with significant channel and alliance infrastructure.
  • A proven ability to take multi-vendor, technically complex solutions and turn them into a crisp, differentiated narrative that resonates with both technical practitioners and C-Suite executives.
  • A track record of owning end-to-end GTM motions, from positioning through launch to field enablement, with measurable impact.
  • High ownership and high adaptability. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and have a track record of building structure where none existed.

What the JD emphasized

  • There is no playbook yet. You will write it.
  • Build Something That Lasts: This is a chance to stand up a function, not fill a seat.
  • Unmatched Scope: Visibility across all of Rubrik's GTM motions, not just one team or one product.
