This role is a Sr. Program Controls Specialist at Honeywell, focused on delivering cost analysis, process improvements, and performance tracking for complex, multi-site programs. Responsibilities include project planning, WBS and budget definition, reporting, forecasting, cost monitoring, invoicing coordination, and resolving supplier invoice issues. The role requires significant experience in project controls and industry experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, automation, or electronics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support in project planning processes, define scopes, establishing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and budgets on allocated projects.
  2. Accountable for accuracy & timely delivery of all project & management reports & forecasts for costs, revenue, and billing on allocated projects
  3. Support the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports including the following activities:
  4. Coordinate invoicing milestone payments with the Project Manager, Customer Care, & Logistics groups. Ensure GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) requirements are met when invoicing.
  5. Invoice Resolution Coordination: Coordinate with project management personnel, engineers of record, procurement, and accounts payable to resolve supplier invoice issues to support timely payment.

  • Project Controls (cost management) industry experience
  • MS Office and SAP applications (Project Accounting module)
  • Finance & cash flow – concepts, processes, planned, actual, forecast
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
