This role is for a Sr. Program Manager on Amazon's Books Risk and Policy team, focusing on leading launch readiness for policy and LLM/AI model initiatives. The role involves transforming complex initiatives into actionable documentation, architecting scalable processes, and partnering with various teams including Product Managers, Policy SMEs, Science, ML engineers, and automation teams. The candidate will use generative AI tools to accelerate project management tasks, contribute to LLM governance and human-in-the-loop (HiTL) process design, and identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into workflows. The role also involves process and risk management, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder management to ensure content integrity and mitigate risk within the Amazon Books store.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead launch readiness for Policy and LLM/AI model launches, including documentation, SOPs, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment
  2. Define reviewer use cases and processes for new products, tools, policies, or business and risk launches
  3. Drive content projects through their entire lifecycle
  4. Develop complex but concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  5. Track and report on program metrics to assess launch effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
