Sr. Program Manager, Procurement Controllership

The Sr. Program Manager, Procurement Controllership will support direct purchasing teams in achieving vehicle and company financial objectives by understanding and recording the financial implications of procurement decisions. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for Direct Procurement Leadership, providing oversight to cost-related activities and performance against financial KPIs, tracking actions across stakeholders, and driving accountability and accuracy in reporting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Project Management: Adept at identifying, developing, tracking, and executing discrete tasks within a given project or program. Defined by end-to-end ownership of a project, program, or product.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Leads cross-functional individual contributors through program and organization-wide projects. Engages frequently with cross-functional managers to ensure alignment. Proactively sets and manages expectations.
  3. Communication: Acts as a strong distributor of information who knows how to engage larger groups and align information across working groups. Able to defuse conflicts and provide clear feedback to peers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. Or a Masters degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to take action on procurement strategies and achieve strategic initiatives.
  • Applies best practices using a combination of established rules and experience to develop mitigation plans for recurring, medium-level risks.
  • Professional presentation skills; facilitates structured decision-making processes.
  • Independently implements solutions and collaborates on evaluating potential ideas with the team.
  • Operates with moderate autonomy to drive improvements and results within an assigned scope.
