Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Program Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead a team of cost analysts responsible for EVMS implementation, SOX compliance, funding analysis, program financial analysis, audits, and contract deliverables. The role involves functional oversight of the Cost Management department, including employee development. Responsibilities include managing a team, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, project management, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, providing proposal support, advising on schedule integration with EVM, supporting customer reviews, and attending business management meetings. The ideal candidate will have a background in government defense cost or schedule management, experience with Microsoft Project, Earned Value with government reporting, and prior leadership experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts
  2. Provide Program Planning & Schedule Analysts with day-to-day hands-on support, guidance, troubleshooting, and satisfying Programmatic requirements
  3. Perform quarterly and year-end performance reviews
  4. Project management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelines
  5. Support/coordinate internal and external surveillance audits

Skills

Required

  • Program Planning / Scheduling or Cost utilizing Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
  • Earned Value with government reporting
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance
